Learn moreWho Qualifies for Hospice Care?
Hospice care is available when the following criteria are met:
- A physician certifies a life-limiting illness with a prognosis of six months or less
- The patient or family chooses comfort-focused care over curative treatment
- The patient has Medicare Part A, Medicaid, or qualifying private insurance
- Care can be provided wherever the patient calls home

Insurance & Payment
Spero Hospice accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans. Medicare Part A covers hospice services with no out-of-pocket costs for eligible patients. Our team will verify your benefits before care begins.
